Most programs are designed for 3- to 8-year-old children, but all ages are welcome.

SEASONAL PROGRAMMING
Our Family Fun Fests will take place annually during Milwaukee Public Schools’ winter break, spring break, and summer break. Each program includes an activity kit and access to themed activities and a snack in the Education Center.
- Winter Break: Winter in the Tropics: Tropical Fruit snack, floral shirts, watercolors.
- Spring Break: Family Fantasy Quest: Fantasy creatures, enchanted forest, puppets!
- Summer Break (end of June): Flower Fest: Interesting pollinators, gardening, honey!
Activity kits available in Spanish and English!

EDUCATIONAL BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Make Their Birthday Bloom
Give your child a birthday celebration filled with nature, discovery and wonder. Parties at the Domes include two hours of private access to the Education Center, a guided nature-focused program and a guided visit inside one of the Domes — with admission included, so guests can explore before or after.
Bring your own cake, snacks, beverages and decorations. We’ll provide the setting for an unforgettable day under glass.
Party Details
Ages: All ages are welcome. Programs are adapted to your group — see the guided program options below.
Scheduling: Select fall dates, September through December. Weekends at 2 p.m., or weekday afternoons for a quieter visit with more of the Domes to yourselves.
Reservations: Schedule at least one month in advance.
Pricing: Parties start at $250 and accommodate up to 50 guests. Tell us your group size when you inquire and we’ll confirm your pricing.
Planning Details: Bring cake or cupcakes, snacks, beverages and decorations. Minimal-cleanup setups only — there is no sink available to guests.
Guided Programs: Choose one guided, nature-focused program led by our Education staff:
- Pollinators, Unite! (K4–middle school) — A lively “Who’s Your Pollinator?” game and a Tropical Dome tour exploring the plants and pollinators that keep ecosystems alive.
- Designed for the Desert (K4–middle school) — Discover how desert plants and animals adapt to survive, then explore the Desert Dome.
- Plants & You (K4–middle school) — See why plants are essential to our everyday lives, with a tour of the Show Dome collection.
- Discover the Domes (grades 9–12) — Explore the history and future of one of Milwaukee’s oldest parks. Best for teen celebrations.
Other Celebrations: Family gatherings, retirements and group celebrations are welcome in the same format.
Available fall dates are limited. Tell us a little about your celebration, and our Education team will help you plan the experience.

Milwaukee Domes Alliance Education Refund Policy
Participants may cancel registrations up to one week in advance and receive 75% of the original price. Cancellations made after this time are nonrefundable. Cancellations made three weeks prior to the workshops will be refunded 100% (excluding processing fees).

Photos and other media taken during the class may be used for marketing purposes. By purchasing a class registration, you are consenting to this policy. Please email our Education Director if we may not use photos in our marketing efforts.
