Join the Friends of the Domes and the Mitchell Park Wellness Collective for a cozy Saturday afternoon with plants.

This event is all about nurturing your mind, body, and soul through the power of houseplants. From Egyptian embalming to Greek mythology this class will briefly cover an array of histories between indoor plants and humans dating back centuries. Discover the secrets of indoor gardening, learn about different plant species, and explore their remarkable benefits.

Learn how to incorporate daily affirmations, wellness, and meditation into your plant care routine, followed by a quick guided meditation.

We’ll finish with short guided tour in the Desert and Tropical Domes to learn more about houseplants and their needs in their natural environments. Whether you’re a seasoned plant enthusiast or just starting your journey, this event offers something for everyone. Connect with fellow plant lovers, exchange plant stories, and expand your network in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
