Since 1989, Friends of the Domes has been supporting the operations of the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory —
our beloved Domes.
We are a group of friends deeply committed to ensuring that Milwaukee continues to have a beautiful horticultural oasis for generations to come.
Today, managing more than half of the operations of the Mitchell Park Domes—and taking the lead on ensuring its future—our organization has evolved into something new.
We will always be “friends” of the Domes—but today, we are also its future. We are the Milwaukee Domes Alliance.
An Image Is Worth a Thousand Words
The new Milwaukee Domes Alliance logo has a lot to say about the work we do.
The domes structures are front and center. The overlapping represents the important role we play in connecting our community to both nature and each other.
The outline in the center represents both a flower and a person. What we recognize is that, although the Domes is certainly a tourist destination, it is also a hub for the people of Milwaukee. It is a place for families to form deep connections—with each other and with nature.
And, as a celebration of our new name, the letters “M” “D” and “A” of Milwaukee Domes Alliance are hidden in the mark itself.
